Description
SamaN Dead Flat Varnish is a water-based, 100% acrylic varnish which has been designed specifically for the protection of indoors painted surfaces, such as furniture, doors, cabinets and woodwork. Dries quickly, has a low odor, and will provide a durable, non-yellowing dead flat finish
pH: 8.0-8.5
Solids: 23 ± 1 % (by weight); 20 ± 1 % (by volume)
Viscosity: 60-65 (Krebs-Stormer)
Density: 1.01-1.03 kg/l
Drying times: dry-to-touch: approximately 30 minutes at 70°F and 50% relative humidity re-coat: approximately 2 hours at 70°F and 50% relative humidity
Coverage: 650-800 sq. ft/gal.
VOC: 91 g/l
Gloss level: dead flat
Recommended applicators: brush, roller or spray
Clean up: Clean applicator and equipment with soapy water immediately after use.
Storage: minimum temperature 41°F, maximum temperature 95°F. KEEP FROM FREEZING. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
Shelf life: at least 1 year in a well closed container.
APPLICATION
1. Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of wax, grease, dirt and dust.
2. Stir thoroughly before use. Do not shake.
3. The optimal application conditions are ambient temperature between 59°F and 77°F and relative humidity between 30% and 60%. For best results and maximum protection, 2 coats of Saman Dead Flat varnish are recommended.
